Why do I want to be a Trustee

I love this community and have attended numerous Trustee Board meetings since my retirement in late 2014.  I have always been a bit frustrated in observing the meetings due to my perception that they appear to treat our multi-million-dollar enterprise as a small back-water village, which it is not.  Over the last year I have observed our community pull itself apart with the Recall often pitting neighbor against neighbor.  Coupling this with the departure and resignation of much of the IVGID senior management along with the current investigation into potential financial malfeasance or incompetence, I feel I can help our community with my professional management and financial expertise.  With my commitment to service and knowledge I can strive to add these skills to solve the challenges our community faces.  I have always tried to keep my commitment to service on a more one-to-one level but feel as a trustee I can use my skills to help the rebuilding of the trust and camaraderie within the community.

I hope I can count on your vote and when you see me around our community, please feel free to provide me with your view and I will happily engage in conversation.
