Why do I want to be a Trustee 

I love this community and have attended numerous Trustee Board meetings over the years.  I have always been frustrated in observing the meetings and treat our $50 million-dollar-per-year enterprise as a small back-water village, which it is not. One of the catalysts that made me consider my candidacy for Trustee are observations of our new IVGID board raising excessive recreation fees on our property taxes while accumulating over 57-61 million dollars in the process for unknown purposes.  Coupling this with the inability to describe the status of ongoing State of Nevada fiscal watch. This also includes the results of the recent audit for the Federal Government of the affluent pipeline grant which included findings of the lack of financial controls in the district.  This has been a recurring problem of IVGID going back for at least 10 years.  Also, the recent Board decision, making the IVGID Chairperson and District Manager decision makers of the many issues IVGID faces loosing the transparency expected.  Lastly, the board decision to eliminate the senior programs, especially the para-transportation of seniors to medical appointments at the local larger cities. These issues and many others make me feel as if the situation is becoming out of control and requires some vocal guardrails on the Board to inform the community. I can help our community with my professional management and financial expertise.  I can use my knowledge and personality to help provide extreme transparency to our community. I can use my skills to help rebuild trust and camaraderie within the community.
